Warranty Policy

At Q Household, we sell refrigerators and freezers that are built to last. We want every customer to feel confident long after the purchase is made — and that confidence starts with understanding exactly what warranty protection applies to your appliance.

Manufacturer’s Official Warranty

Each product listed on qhousehold.com carries the manufacturer’s official warranty, the period and terms of which are stated on the individual product page. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that arise under normal use. Should your appliance develop a covered defect within the warranty period, you are entitled to free repair, replacement, or refund — whichever is appropriate under the circumstances. We coordinate directly with the brand’s authorised service centre on your behalf, so you do not have to navigate that process alone.

Implied Warranty Under Philippine Law

Separate from, and in addition to, the manufacturer’s warranty, your purchase is protected by the implied warranty provisions of the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394) and the relevant warranty provisions of the Civil Code of the Philippines. These statutory rights guarantee that the goods you receive are:

  • fit for the ordinary purpose for which such goods are used;
  • free from hidden defects that render them unfit for their intended use or that diminish their value; and
  • of merchantable quality at the time of delivery.

These legal rights exist independently of any commercial warranty offered by the manufacturer and cannot be waived or limited by contract.

How to File a Warranty Claim

Filing a claim is straightforward. Contact our customer service team within the applicable warranty period by emailing info@qhousehold.com or by using the contact form on our website. Our service hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Please include your order number, a description of the defect, and, where possible, photographs or a short video showing the issue. Once we receive your report, we will assess the concern and arrange the next steps — including coordination with the manufacturer’s authorised service centre — at no cost to you.

What Is Not Covered

Warranty protection, whether under the manufacturer’s warranty or implied warranty at law, does not extend to damage or failure resulting from the following:

  • Misuse or improper handling — including operating the appliance outside the conditions specified in the product manual;
  • Unauthorised repair or modification — any work performed by a technician or service centre not authorised by the manufacturer;
  • Physical damage caused by accidents, negligence, or external factors such as flooding, fire, or power surges;
  • Normal wear and tear consistent with ordinary use over time; and
  • Consumable parts that are expected to diminish with regular use.

If you are unsure whether your situation falls within or outside warranty coverage, please reach out before proceeding with any repairs. Unauthorised repairs may void the remaining warranty on your unit.

Our Commitment to You

Q HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS OPC stands behind every appliance sold through our store. We believe that dealing with a defective product should never be a burden on the customer — which is why we handle the process with the brand service centre for you, from initial assessment through to resolution. Your statutory rights under Philippine law remain fully intact at every step.
